Last week, the Compete PRO team hosted a social media themed networking event at the Wayfare Tavern in San Francisco. Existing clients and other marketing thought leaders were invited to join members of the Compete PRO Account Management and Product teams for a sneak peak at the new Social Insights module. The event also provided a platform for networking opportunities and discussions about the current social media sphere.
The Compete PRO team also had the opportunity to receive direct feedback from our clients regarding what they’ve found most useful in Compete PRO, what they need and want from the Compete syndicated products offering and how they are currently measuring social media effectiveness.
The event kicked off with an exclusive, small group demo of the Social Insights module. Social Insights is the first tool in the Compete PRO syndicated products suite that has been developed using a combination of data from the Compete PRO side of Millward Brown Digital as well as data from the Dynamic Logic Emerging Media Lab. The user event provided the perfect platform to present the first iteration of Compete PRO’s Social Insights syndicated tool and also provide context about the vast capabilities stemming from the Emerging Media Labs’ custom reports. As part of the small group Social Insights demo Emerging Media Lab Senior Research Analyst Anne Czernek presented examples of the in-depth custom social media measurement studies that have been conducted by her team. VP of Product Conor O’Mahony was in attendance for this session and was able to respond to product questions, as well as provide context regarding future Social Insights product plans and potential capabilities.
Immediately following the private demo, the event was opened up to all registrants. With about 50 people in attendance, there was lively conversation and our team had the opportunity to have face to face conversations with clients and prospects alike about what kinds of tools they need to achieve their personalized goals and quantify social media measurement. PRO related content was distributed to all attendees including a Compete PRO One Sheet, Social Insights One Sheet and a whitepaper with the Five Steps to Social Media Success Using Competitive Intelligence.
Our team members at the event left with great feedback that has already been presented to the rest of the PRO team. We hope attendees left with actionable insights about Compete’s products and are looking forward to the exciting updates coming to the Social Insights tool.
