Sunday Series: Food and Grocery Fast Movers

This week, we compiled ten of the fastest growing food and grocery sites. Mother’s Day drove significantly more traffic than usual to online food shops: the category of sites had 27.5% more Unique Visitors (UVs) than in April. Americans bought their moms chocolate covered strawberries, fruit baskets, and even meat! (also the month’s fast mover),, and were the highest traffic sites among the grocery fast movers. Surprisingly, more women than men shopped on these sites in May, over indexing the Internet Browsing Population (IBP). The IBP was split 49% females and 51% males last month. Weren’t the ladies supposed to be treated by everyone else for Mother’s Day?
