Compete is excited to announce the new behavioral category in Compete PROParenting and Pregnancy. The group consists of 63 sites who had a combined 27 million Unique Visitors (UVs) in March. It’s a diverse group of sites, including resources for work-at-home moms, the National Association for Youth Sports, and Mothers of Preschoolers International. Check out the list of top ten fastest growing sites in the category below.

The category’s highest traffic month was October in 2011 and 2012, which is interesting since the month with the most births is usually September. New parents have the Internet at their fingertips to answer any questions they may have. “Baby names” was the highest referring keyword to the group of sites over the past three months. Babynames.com made the top ten list, growing 17% in March. It makes sense that people are researching names now if many babies are due in the late summer and early fall. Will the top search keyword change later in the year to something related to newborns? We’ll have to wait and see!
