This week’s Sunday Series brings us to the basketball court. With basketball season in the United States starting at the end of October and into November, which sites grew the most and captured the most attention early in the season?
Interestingly enough, a number of non-NBA properties found themselves among the top growing sites for November in Compete’s Basketball industry category. Most interesting is that besides some draft-focused sites and the home of USA Basketball, Lebron James’ own website is close to the top of the list. The power of Lebron James’ personal brand vastly overshadowing the growth of the website for the team he’s affiliated with is telling of the modern social media era where personalities are commodities.
