Fall is known for so many things–pumpkin flavored everything, crisped leaves, Halloween costumes, sweaters–but it’s also known for something else: the flu. The dreaded flu. And with that, flu shots. I wanted to see if the impending sense of ill-health–and with it the rampant hypochondria–would be reflected in the top growers of September, and it was. Flu.gov secures the third highest increase in volume for the month, a definite symptom of the slew of ‘I’m sick!’ searches to come as temperatures begin to drop.
