A number of our customers ask for a dashboard view, that’s easy to print. While this seems simple enough, when you have a number of technologies to wrangle it’s easier said than done. In order to cater to our customers we suggest downloading Awesome Screenshot, I know that the name itself will inflate your hopes and dreams but I’m willing to say it’s something to write home about. It will allow you to capture either the visible portion or full screen of any in-browser activity with a simple click or keyboard short cut. I use the program daily and love, love, love it! It’s available on Firefox, Safari, and Chrome browsers I’d recommend that IE users try snag-it if they wish to continue to use internet explorer.
For the rest of us Webkit and Mozilla nerds, here’s an overview of why Awesome Screenshot is so darn awesome!
I’d also recommend updating the preferences for mapping keyboard shortcuts so you can capture interactions when you hover. Happy screen-shooting!
