Quick Tip: Filtering Keywords Manually with Search Analytics

You can manually adjust the Keyword Filters via sliders, radio buttons, and drop-down menus to further filter your keyword lists. In addition to our Search Insights Filters, manual filtering can help you refine your results and hone in on your results so you spend less time in spreadsheets and more time taking action! See how to adjust some of the filters below.

  1. Adjust your sliders by clicking and holding down the square dark blue handles. In this example, we’ve filtered 20%-100% Paid Search results. This will remove any keywords with less than 20% paid share.
  2. After you’re finished adjusting your filters you can select the Filter button to apply it to your search results. Note: You may need to tweak the filters a couple of times to get the size list you’re looking for.
  3. Select Unfilter Results to get back to your full search referrals list. You can do this by clicking on the blue and white X icon or hitting the undo button link next to the Filter button.
  4. Now displaying x#/y# this section shows you how many keywords are being filtered. The first number is how many you’re viewing and the second number is how many results there are total. If you were to select the Export table as CSV link, in this example, only 2610 out of 100,000 keywords would download into the spreadsheet.search-analytics-manual-filters.jpg
