PRO customers all have access to the five basic types of search analytics reports; search referrals by Site, search referrals by Category, search referrals by Comparison, Keyword Destination Broad Match, and Keyword Destination Exact Match. The sections below will describe each in more detail.
Search Referral Reports by Site
This report allows you to see the last 90-days of keyword activity for a specific url, see the example below.
Search Referral Reports by Category
This report allows you to see the last 90-days of keyword activity for our Industry or Behavioral categories. These categories are groups of domains organized by compete and are also utilized for enterprise clients’ benchmarking and performance purposes.
Search Referral Reports by Comparison
This report allows you to see the last 90-days of keyword activity for two competitive urls to differentiate the percentage of volume and engagement based on Keywords, see the example below. See how you compare against your competition in terms of search traffic volume and time on site.
Keyword Search Referral Reports by Broad Match
This report allows you to see the last 90-days of activity to specific domains based on a selected keyword. Since this is a Broad Match search it will return more results, because it allows for all different combinations of the selected keyword. For example if you search for digital camera, the returned results may include the results for someone who searched for “300 mega pixel digital camera” or “(brandname) digital camera” or “waterproof digital camera” to name a few possibilities.
Keyword Search Referral Reports by Exact Match
This report allows you to see the last 90-days of activity to specific domains based on a selected keyword. Since this is an Exact Match search it will return less results than the Broad Match because it does not allow for a different combination of the selected keyword. This report will only return results the exact value entered. In the example below, the results for this search will only include domains that were referred to by this exact keyword search. Searches using language such as “Nikon digital SLR” or “Canon digital SLR” will not be included.
