Last Tuesday, senior marketing manager at ClickEquations, Alex Cohen, taught us how to discover which words are driving traffic to your competitors sites and which ones drive engagement, as well as how to uncover the real words people use before they click on your text ad and stop irrelevant clicks. His webinar, “Find Profitable Keywords with 2 Unconventional Techniques,” presented viewers with insightful and new information about various ways improve your PPC campaigns.
During the webinar we got some great questions from our listeners that we wanted to share with you:
Q: How often is the Compete PRO’s database updated?
A: Our data is updated monthly.
Q: Will you be attending any industry related events in the midwest sometime in the near future?
A: Not, in the Midwest, but we will be attending SES San Franscisco at booth 806. Or check out our events page to see where we will be in the future.
Q: Does compete use panels for their data?
A: Compete manages the largest panel of its kind in the industry, combining the online behaviors and attitudes from 2 million consumers across the United States. Our online panel is comprised of a statistically representative cross-section of consumers who have given permission to have their internet clickstream behaviors and opt-in survey responses analyzed anonymously as a new source of marketing research. The Compete panel is several times larger than traditional panels, which means that we help clients measure and benefit from more insights. Read more on our data methodology page.
Q: On compete, what length of time is the data from? A day, a month, a year?
A: We release data monthly, but it goes back two years.
Q: You have really great comparitive tools and the audience needs to know the implication between actual metrics data and your extrapolated data. If I look at visitor metrics for your site on Compete and then your Omniture or Google Analyitcs.
A: Information on our data is available on our methodology page.
Q: Is it possible to view the recording of this webinar?
A: Absolutely, view the recording now!
Big thanks to Alex Cohen for such a great webinar!
