In three weeks, the wireless industry will convene in Las Vegas for CTIA Wireless 2010, taking place March 22nd through March 25th. Traditionally, our show is one of the largest in the industry with tens of thousands of attendees, over 400,000 square feet of exhibits and international participation from over 100 countries. The conference gives attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies, discuss industry trends and receive tips and best practices from industry leaders. For the past five years, we’ve hosted a Mobile Marketing & Advertising special session for agencies and brands to learn more about the burgeoning mobile channel.
Compete will emcee the full day event, which is taking place on Monday, March 22nd from 9:00am-5:30pm at Las Vegas Convention Center. Diana Pouliot, director of mobile advertising for Google, will give the keynote address and numerous other industry executives will share their experiences using mobile as a marketing tool. Additional speakers include executives from Cisco Systems, Motorola, Samsung, Virgin Mobile USA, Yahoo! and many others.
The presentations will focus on the interactive applications that engage consumers via wireless devices (for example, short codes) and provide real-life examples of how companies have harnessed this technology to market to consumers’ mobile phones. As companies begin to recover from the recession we believe that mobile"”already on the cusp of mainstream adoption"”will emerge as a powerful marketing tool.
To that end, CTIA is extending a special offer to advertising and marketing agencies. We welcome you to bring a client to this event for FREE once you purchase a ticket to the session for your organization. Credentials for event also include admission to the Exhibit floor and Keynote Sessions taking place throughout the week. To take advantage of this special offer, please contact me as soon as possible at JSimmons@ctia.org.
On behalf of myself and Compete, we hope to see you at the show!
