Quick Tip: Saving & Downloading Compete Metrics
Compete graph data is easily exportable and can be used in any spreadsheet application that is able to read .csv files, such as Excel, Google Docs, or LibreOffice. This quick tip will show you where in the interface to find the Export and Save Graph links within the graph interface. PRO users can also use the same links on graphs in the search analytics and referral analytics sections of the site.
- To export the information you see on the graph simply select the Export to CSV icon on the top right of any graph or table.
- To save the graph image for printing, presentations, and other reporting click the Save Graph Image link. The graph will appear with the selected months and request you save it locally to your computer. Make sure to name well and put it somewhere easily findable like a Compete folder on your desktop or in your documents folder.

Please note: If you filter any of the report results with custom filters or report insights you will be exporting the filtered list, not the whole list. In the image above 1y or one year of data is selected and will export to CSV, to export 2 years of data with your PRO account, simply select the white and blue 2Y button on the graph.
