"Compete triangulates multiple data sources, including ISP, Panel and Toolbar to estimate U.S. traffic."
When can we expect to see more focus on non-US traffic? There is a world outside the US...

I love the new site. I never knew that the other data was available - paid or not - I don't care since people pay comscore $50,000 for what the people view at questionable data at best. (not to mention Hitwise shady data for $30k)

What I don't understand is how you can give most of the top level metrics away for free....why? When all your competitors charge crazy money.

I totally disagree with Mark - at some point you have to get serious and make an investment in your online efforts. Free is Free but if you want the data you can make decisions on you can either pay compete $499 or comscore/hitwise $30,000.

Rock on Compete. just don't make everything paid.....

Though I like the new interface, I am COMPLETELY disappointed that you have decided to make more of your metrics only available to PRO users. I feel you've made the site almost useless to smaller sites that cannot afford to upgrade, but which might have in the future with the intelligence you had been providing,

Visits are useless without things like Page Views and Average Stay, especially when looking at competitors.

Disappointing decision, but not unexpected since you obviously felt that you had to monetize your service at some point. However, masking the reduction in data to free users by implementing it during a change in the look and feel of your site is a trick that won't fool many, and does paint you as untrustworthy.

You're still the best game in town, but I believe you should have reduced data offered separately from the redesign and explained why you had to do it.
