Furthermore, because purchases on other sites (including ebay) typically require at least a $5+ cost to ship, Amazon would have the edge. The big BUT is whether customers will continue to spend money. I, for one, cancelled my trial Prime membership, but I wonder if I will end up regretting that decision as I wait 5 business days for my next purchase to arrive. Nice analysis.
