Another successful year is coming to a close for the Compete Blog and we felt it was appropriate to take a look back at the events that shaped our world this year, and subsequently shaped our blog. The following list compiles the top blog post for each month of ‘08.

  • Not surprisingly, the major issues of the year also led to the most viewed blog posts of the year, highlighted by topics that were top-of-mind for all over the year; the environment, the auto industry, and the election
  • A year of big changes at Compete was also reflected on the blog, with Compete’s purchase by TNS and the release of Compete PRO getting a lot of attention

In the comments for our year-end post last year, a reader asked which properties were most looked-up on Compete’s SiteAnalytics, so this year we’re including the list before you can ask for it.

Thanks to all who have helped keep Compete.com on the rise this year. Please let us know if there is anything you would like to see in ‘09.

Pity Sarah Palin doesn’t have her own website. Otherwise, she’d surely be inside of the top 10 sites looked up here.
