Virginia, New York, and Massachusetts are also pretty rich states, if I recall. The deep south tends to be quite poor as well. It could also be that its mostly Democrats in the swing states (or anywhere) who go online more, and they're less in the deep south, so the % falls there. There could be a lot of other reasons.
