Are you a rock star UI designer looking for a full-time job?
Are you up for the challenge of making complex sets of data visually appealing.
Would you be happier with an extra $500 in your wallet and have a lot of friends who own Adobe Creative Suite?
Do you hate how poorly the image to the right was photoshopped?
If you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, prepare to get excited - we’re currently looking to hire an experienced UI/Creative designer to:
- make Compete.com visually breathtaking
- work with the Compete.com team to improve the usability of Compete’s (growing) set of tools
- conceptualize and build amazing digital marketing creative
- develop and manage offline marketing collateral and corporate identity materials.
If this sounds like a great fit for you, please get in touch! If someone you know would be interested, let them know…and help yourself out in the process. If someone you refer is ultimately hired, Compete will “refer” $500 into your bank account…just for passing a name along!
More details on the position are available here. Please forward your resume or any questions to careers@compete.com. We look forward to working with you!

Compete does not have to be visually breathtaking…….it is much more important that it be readable and easily navigated.
People want good info not eye candy

You could take the non-shitty route of actually posting more of what you want a designer to do then to try to be somewhat witty in your blog post. I understand the link within the blog going to the specifics but I didn’t even want to click through to see the desired qualifications (and I’m a graphics designer).
