I think for Hulu to really start picking up, they are going to need to build up attention again. I remember people really talking about it way back in November for the private beta. However, I think that the attention it’s gotten fell a bit (People count from Dec-Jan fell 20%). I haven’t really watched that much TV recently so I can’t say much about the advertising push on the NBC/Universal networks. But, watching television on your own time is pretty much the concept behind TiVo, so I do expect huge jumps in visitors at hulu

I think it goes deeper than these companies as well. With the networks streaming full episodes and a lot more sporting events being shown online. I suspect there will be more and more people watching the NCAA tournament this month online vs. on tv.

I was reading an article about Al Gore yesterday, and it said he started a company called Current media, which broadcats user generated videos for both television and the internet. The article said they have some 50 million viewers, but didn’t give a breakup of internet viewership. You know anything more about it?
