"Consumers should be more open to upgrading DVDs and equipment now that their confusion over platform survival and technical specifications is cleared up."

I SAY that whole thing just BLOWS! I am not more **open** to having to UpGrade yet AGAIN. How much is enough??

Example: I have **Upgraded** from vinyl to 8-tarck; from cassette to CD; so that means I have bought the SAME album FOUR times.

sheesh.....

Another Competer forwarded me this article from the Economist today. It provides a much broader view of the Internet's role in the future of movies and how the studios are reacting to things like piracy. Check it out: http://www.economist.com/world/na/displaystory.cfm?story_id=10723360
