Even a completely foolproof list only remains accurate momentarily. Some of the top sites are winding down, some are in full swing, some like mine are brand new and yet others have alliances unknown to the average visitor. If you spot a name on the list that you hadn't heard of before, by all means check it out of course, the lists are valuable even if only for that reason. I just wonder how Technorati can rank me in the top 100 overall blogs, and somehow I didn't make the cut for top 374 marketing blogs. What makes it even more absurd is that journalists their have reviewed my book, interviewed me for stories, and there is even a recommendation of my book on their site. These lists always seem more credible and noteworthy when one is included on them.
