Thank you so much for this great article. Could you please run the statistics again for, say, 2 months (August-September). It should show the explosion of Ron Paul's popularity even more.

I believe I am on safe grounds to say that such a new article would boost your website's and blog's views enormously and that hundred's of thousands of people who are attracted to Ron Paul's principles will be very thankful

Guys, look at the chart. Ron Paul is on a huge upslope and has passed Rudy & Mitt.

This is great data. I would love to see this blog do state by state elections again in August (using the last 3 months data, since fred has entered the fray and after a few debates)

Here is what Hitwise says on the GOP race:

In addition to the donating food idea that Obama's supporters got from Paul's supporters (kidding, donate food to the needy any time) he also inspires his fans to put together ads as beautiful as this one. They put it together in about 2 days from idea to print on page.

There are some overzealous supporters but they are the minority and it's not surprising that even kooks want freedom and a responsible government is it?

Mary: "Brad: What a leader inspires his followers to do is important to me."

Well if it's any consolation, among other things Ron Paul inspired his followers to feed a children's shelter low on supplies in Spartanburg (see: http://sjedit.ny.publicus.com/article/20070724/NEWS/707240312/-1/NEWS100 or a more extensive article at http://www.gambling911.com/Ron-Paul-072307.html). In total they donated 500 dollars worth of food. The effort was organized by Ron Paul supporters trough RonPaulForums.com

From what I can tell Ron Paul's grassroots support is growing, and they're extremely dedicated to the cause. Ron Paul supporters aren't just a bunch of people strolling the Internet.

Mary and those like her are missing the big picture. I am not 13 nor am I rude, I am sorry that some people were rude to you. The only way we can get away from argument, however, is to either abandon our beliefs or become apathetic. I am willing to do neither because of the high stakes.

Our money is being printed out of thin air by a corporation that charges the US Government interest on the newly created money. Every time they pump billions into the economy, from nowhere, it lessens the value of the money in your pocket.

That is a human rights issue, a moral issue; it hits the poorest people the hardest. It's everything that Obama should be railing against, but he is silent. Why?

Government has no power that isn't derived from the power of the people and spelled out in the constitution. However, today they can listen to your phones, seize your land and money and deprive you of privacy and liberty... all without a warrant. This didn't start after 9/11, it was happening before as well.

Diversity is divisive by design and it is a tool to help polarize our nation. If you are always aware of what "group" a person is a member of and believe they get certain rights by being a member of this supposed group, you ignore the fact that we have individual rights. If we all had our individual rights protected, as guaranteed in the Constitution we would not need "diversity" it would happen naturally and we wouldn't notice.

If the IRS was gone you would not have to show the government where you made every dollar you make, and you would be able to keep the fruits of your labor. That is a true welfare issue and a privacy issue. If you give money to a relative why should the government get a cut? Didn’t you earn the money already?

All we have to do is go back to the spending levels of the year 2000. That can’t be hard. If we cut that much spending you can get rid of the IRS and replace it with nothing!

We should print our own money. That money should be backed by something more than what backs monopoly money.

Otherwise, all of the issues you care about are nothing more than rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic.

I don't think that RonPaul2008.com is a good gauge of Dr. Paul's success or his popularity. There's not a great deal of stuff on that site and there's no daily blog. I myself, a Ron Paul supporter, rarely go there. I get most of my Ron Paul news on the Daily Paul blog (www.dailypaul.com).

Ron Paul's campaign is less centralized and therefore harder to track.

Mary: You would also be happy to know that August 20th is Ron Pauls Birthday, and Ron Paul Followers have declared it Hope for America day.

As supporters of Ron Paul and striving to help our country we should come together on August 20th and help to better America. What a better way to honor Dr. Paul then to celebrate his birthday through community service. We can come together to clean streets, paint over graffiti, help the homeless, or provide a volunteer service needed in our communities.
