October is behind us and it’s no surprise that Halloween-themed sites had strong representation in the month’s Top Ten Mover list. HauntedHouse.com, CostumeIdeaZone.com, and HalloweenExpress.com all made strong showings before returning to their dark, dank, hibernation for the next 11 months or so. More power to them if they’re able to make it back to the list next year. My guess is one or more of these sites may pass to the great, ghoulish beyond.
But Halloween also helped one of the most fascinating sites I’ve seen in the mover’s list in quite some time. Turns out lots of moms around the country turned to RobinsFYI for advice on creating "easy and cheap" homemade costumes. RobinsFYI is a trip, with any and all information of interest to"¦.Robin, the woman who has operated the site as her homepage since 1996. Her list of interests is massive and ranges from Aviation to EMS to Home Improvement. Each page on the site appears to have its own .wav-format theme song, which is sure to warm your heart. With nearly 675,000 visitors, maybe she’s on to something. Anyone got any suggestions on a Compete theme song?
