look at the sales numbers wii dominated up till now while xbox36 as second in sales n ima not worry about ps3 ima leave them in the dust becuase thats were there at now while ppl talk about the ps3 or 360 ima laugh their console couldnt keep up fools dont u know wii is the best king of console thatz a good name for it buy a wii if u have one then lets celebrate with a couple patrons n pina collada and remember those comments u read about the wii how it was second to the ps3 or xbox n mostly first on the wishlist its handheld device also dominated come on give ps3 a bear wagon before its too late n microsoft stick to computers u guyz r filthy rich dont go into wiis space cuz ur shit is trash n ps3 i can only say what happened i cant hold it in hahahahaha cheerz every nintendo fan n free the pokemon mystery dungeon ex of time n darkness time to make more money

thats reality u may not be able to handle the truth but hey i didnt buy all those wiis in the end the streetz have the last word but the truth is there is no winner only losers there rich while ur still in the slums………..

I owned a Xbox 360 for a year and found it disapointing, Gear of War is well over rated yes it looks good yes it plays well but its short and the online game sucks, Halo 1 very good all over, Halo 2 pretty much the same as 1 with little improvement and from what my friends say 3 isnt that much to shout about.

PS3 isnt the real deal yet and maybe it wont be, maybe we’ll have to wait for PS4 my point is if MS win the games war and Sony pulls out of games market and Nintendo sticks to kids only gaming then the console world is dead and you may as well buy a p.c.

I hope PS3 does win this time and that MS have to go one better and that Nintendo come back into the fray with Sega and Atari becasue with out compition whats the point of a games market.

Or did i get the vibe of this thread wrong are you all just trying to see who’s got the bigger wang?

I’ve always been in Nintendo’s corner despite disagreeing with constant bad decisions made on hardware. That’s not to say I’m against or dislike Sony or Microsoft. In fact, I bought a PS2, Xbox and a Gamecube this last round. I’d have to say that the Xbox and Gamecube have had the most use and the PS2 took a back seat. Though I haven’t played any of the new consoles I have done a little research both in the numbers and by going to stores and checking on them. By the numbers (and bear in mind, all numbers in performance bench-marking are fudged in one way or another) the PS3 and Xbox360 appear to be fairly close in hardware power. By the specs it looks to me like Microsoft has set up the architecture of the xbox360 to have a good balance of video and processing power as where sony’s architecture looks like it’s aimed mainly at generating pretty pictures on a TV screen. Nintendo’s numbers on performance are not even close to the others, but Nintendo has said from the start that performance and video graphics were not the aim of this console so the Wii takes last place in the hardware department. I must say that Microsoft was a bit wiser in making their HD drive an optional add-on where Sony is trying to force their beloved Blu-Ray on their customers. And to anyone who argues that the Blu-Ray drive is worth the same as the top-notch Blu-Ray player out there, then you are truly naive. Then there’s the true test… seeing which system is selling. Any store (I mean ANY store) I walk into I check to see system availablility. And the usual story is that there’s no Wii’s to be found since they fly off the shelf as soon as shipments come in. It also is usually that there ARE PS3’s in stock (trust me, this is not due to Sony producing a ridiculous number of consoles more than Nintendo). There are also usually xbox 360s on the shelves, but then again, most people who want it have it already given the year-long headstart that Microsoft gave themselves. And to all those who claim that the Wii is for kids and for non-hardcore gamers, here’s a newsflash… Nintendo has made no secret of the fact that they’re trying to reach a range of customers and their main focus isn’t on the teenage males of this country. Nintendo is deliberately pushing for family-friendly games along with all the blood, guts, and guns games that the ‘hardcore’ players are ever-thirsty for. As always Xbox360 and PS3 will continue to battle for the nicest eye-candy on the market though admittedly they do have some awesome games that aren’t just jazzed up graphics with no solid gameplay.
So overall my choice would be to buy a 360 and a Wii and pass on Sony this time around.

i wanted a 360 untill i looked at the wii the 360 is a soild system and i like the PS3 but the PS3 is 500-600 dollars just cuz blue ray something no one uses right now its a video game system not a overprice dvd player is u buy a PS3 u r bacisly buying a 360 with a overprice dvd player in it the PS3 is just to over priced and blue ray is too new right now to help them sell they sould of used it on there next consle once blue ray got into the real market now back to the Wii yeah its dosent look the best in game but once u played it most people will buy it or buy a 360 or PS3 then go to there firends to house to play cuz it fun or they couldnt afford game for there PS3 so they all good system but Wii and 360 are going to battle for 1st and 2nd in the end cuz no one wants a overpriced dvd player when they what to play video games

I need the honest truth i played both a wii and 360 and can not debate on which one is better 360 has the stunning graphics, and the wii has the very fun game play. I need to know which one of these will be the best to get in the long run. Im not what you would call a core gamer because i never played xbox live or anything like that dial up…but any ways i probably wont get highspeed so without live or anything like that i need a straight answer 360 or Wii???

The Xbox 360 is the Best Console in the world. Because the Xbox 360 got the best Graphics and the Best Games in the World. The Xbox live is the best, Because you could play with your friends everywhere in the World, even Japan. I like playing by my self to. 10/10 Perfect

The Wii is not the Best Console that I been seing in the past year, But still A Good Console to buy. The Wii Has fun games. The Wii is Really Fun, Espicially Wii Sports, But I need Mario for the Wii. 7/10 Good

this is a responce to the first post, from Evan Reiser, and anyone else who agrees with the website provided. You cant rely on a website called microsoft is awsome to fairly judge the xbox and ps3, its pretty obvious who the winner will be. its like saying ‘oh yea the ps3 is way better in all things go to this website playstation3iswaybetterthanthexbox360.com. it just cant be done.

You xbox fans are lame. You guys think the consol is all that just because the graphics are better and it can do all of these crazy things. Obviously your missing the point of gaming. Graphics are not what makes a game good! It just makes it look good which does absolutely nothing! The wii may not have good graphics but it is more fun to PLAY than any other consol. So this little chart this guy has on the screen means nothing.

xbox 360 charges online play
ps3 has blu ray drive in it
xbox 360 does not have an hd drive half to buy 1
ps3 has wireless internet
xbox 360 does not have a wireless internet half to buy adaptor
ps3 has 60 gig hardrive
xbox 360 has 20 gig hardrive

guys if you add all the cost of items you half to buy for the 360
it is more than the ps3 ps3 wins big time

ff7, rumour as it is, is NOT the only promising title ; MGS4, the revival of the PS1’s WARHAWK, the FIFA series, SOCOM, Pro Evolution Soccer, Grand Theft Auto 4, and that’s just off the top of my head. I would consider the Wii for Zelda and the 360 for Halo, but generally I prefer the Playstation exclusive titles to the other consoles.

i wouldnt say buy the ps3 exclusively for the blu ray; as far as i know it can’t write or copy from blu ray, but please correct me if it can. Either way, at the end of the day it’s a games console, everything else is extra enhancing features.

in scotland we won’t get the ps3 until march 2007 due to the UK being a secondary market compared to japan, the US, etc. I have played all consoles except the ps3, but am still going to buy it over the others, not out of bias bout of GAME SERIES. games like metal gear solid and final fantasy are among my favourites, so its the games, no the console pushing me to ps3.
Also, we have an HD tv but no hd dvd/blu ray player, and the ps3 is actually cheaper than a blu ray player anyway, so it semms worth the price.

xbox 360s are AMAZING, but when you tally up the accesories and extras, its price is not so different from the ps3, so you can’t factor the price into the arguement.
