Kaboose.com was number 2 on our list of top movers for Week 29 (July 16 – 22) [sign into My.Compete for full list]. This family oriented site offers activities likes crafts and baking that can involve parents and kids alike. Taking the kid and family on-line space by storm, kaboose experienced an increase in traffic of 147% from the previous week.

So why would kaboose.com receive over 475,000 people in a late July week? Well let’s see, here is my guess: at this point in the summer, parents are straight up sick of their kids. I don’t have kids but sometimes I get sick of other people’s kids when I see them on the bus. I can only imagine what it’s like for all you parents out there.

Seriously though, if you are looking for something productive to do with the little guys and girls there are numerous ideas here. Why not send little Billy out on a scavenger hunt? Or you could host a mini-Olympics for the entire neighborhood (actually, doesn’t that mean you are responsible for more kids?). Better yet, suggest that your neighbors host a mini-Olympics.

Oh here’s a fun little survey that I found on the home page of kaboose; “At what age did you start toilet training your child?”. That’s good stuff!!! There is also a “10 Best Chick Flicks” section where I was able to get some ideas for my next date. Check it out Moms and Dads, you will be glad you did.
