Google Calendar

Almost anyone who has worked in an office can tell you about the beauty of the online office calendar. This tool enables employees to keep track of meetings, appointments, projects, and any other note worthy event. The calendar makes staying organized easy with the convenience of daily, weekly, and monthly calendar views as well as popup reminders for pending events. In addition to all of this, one of the best features of an office calendar is your ability to share your schedule with your co-workers. This function allows everyone in the office to coordinate their schedules, which makes planning meetings a breeze.

Given all these amazing capabilities, why should such a calendar be limited to the office setting? Google recently created a solution to this age old question: Google Calendar! Google Calendar is a free online shareable calendar that provides a solution to organizing your entire life. Google Calendar allows you to keep track of events, forward event reminders to your mobile phone or PDA, share your calendar with friends and family, and send event invitations to others. Used in conjunction with Gmail, you can add events to your calendar without ever leaving your Inbox.

In true Google fashion, you can easily search your calendar for events and you can even search public calendars for new events you would like to attend. You can also create an interactive Google Calendar to post on your website or blog.

Google Calendar has been available since mid April and over 170,000 people logged in to see what it’s all about in June. But don’t just take their word for it, check it out for yourself.
