Wow, where to begin. Great article. Organic food is definitely the "in thing." About time too, my family raised me vegetarian and whole food. While "Organic Food" is now coming of age. A few of us remember when food was just organic naturally.

Grandma did not use chemicals and her seeds were from years of past crops. The fertilizer was the chicken manure and organic waste. The food was good, it always tasted like what it claimed to be. The corn was corn, the tomatoes, were tomatoes. Today, I can tell the difference between an organic vegetable and one grown with unnatural enhancements, or what I like to call genetic experimentation. An example, try cooking an organic potato in the same batch as a non-organic potato of the same variety. Surprise, they will not cook the same, even when backing together. Hmm..? Now taste, hmm...? An interesting experiment.

In your article you said: "...The organic consumer is an extremely valuable commodity to grocery retailers..." I have to agree. But, it does not stop there. Organics are now the world hottest market for farmers and others in the industry. Take the company I work for, SexySprouts our company is based on organic greens alone. Starting with Organic Sunflower Sprouts, our company is targeting the market for fresh local organic food. Imagine, a whole business dependent upon organic products. We are not alone, today there are a growing number of organics only businesses. There will be more every year now as we search for quality food, and better health. Check us out, we are coming to a store near you as we expand across America and spread to Europe.

NOTICE, we are looking for organic farmers every where. So, if you currently farm organics or want to. Especially if your in or near a metropolitan area, were want you to become a partner organic micro-farmer. Contact us via our website: www.SexySprouts.com
