More Mother’s Day

Turns out that florist sites weren’t the only ones getting last minutes visits from frantic sons and daughters. Electronic greeting card sites, where you can send free e-cards, also saw huge surges in traffic. Check out the numbers:

AmericanGreetings.com — 2,442,859 visitors
Hallmark.com — 2,409,062 visitors
123greetings.com — 1,150,021 visitors
MyFunCards.com — 942,103 visitors

Bluemountain.com, JacquieLawson.com, Beliefnetgreetings.com also had significant increases. Your mom carried you for nine months, changed your diapers, fed you, sheltered you, cared for you when you were sick, and you sent her an animated picture of a teddy bear. Nice touch.
