Mother’s Day: A day to show your mom how much you appreciate all she’s done for you by waiting until the very last minute, then ordering a bouquet of flowers online.
At least that’s what it looks like judging from the numbers we’ve seen.
At least four flower-buying websites had huge increases in the number of visitors during the week of Mother’s Day. Leading the way was old stalwart FTD.com with over 2.7 million visitors for the week. ProFlowers.com and 1800Flowers.com also had impressive showings, with 1.45 Million and 1.38 million visitors respectively.
